How to plan a video production?

Planning would be much easier, if you could send us a brief which is the bare bones information of what you need, via an email. For example, what is the name of your video. Who is going to see it, and where it’s going to be shared. What is the purpose of the video (why do you need it). For example, is it a business ad you want to use on Facebook, or a short video you want to send to the love of your life on Valentine’s Day. What do you want it to say? For example, do you want people to see how you are dedicated to your customers in your business ad, or do you want it to show how much you care about your family. These are called the key messages of a video. And finally, what do you want the video to look like. For example, in your business ad, what is the feel of your brand? Do you want it to be bright and cheerful, or do you want it to be moody and black and white. Or, in your love story, would you like to have a modern carefree mood or do you want a classic romantic tone? If you are not sure, you can let us know the names of the films you like or send us links to the videos you like. If we want further information, we will call you. We will do the rest of planning in our consultations with you.

What is production in video production?

Production is the second stage of filmmaking. It is when we film you and capture your story.

What are the three stages of video production?

1. pre-production: is when we consult you.

2. production: is when we film you and/or anyone else who is involved in the story and/or any places/buildings/pets in the story you want to tell. Sometimes we chat with you in front of the camera, which is called interviews. You don’t need to memorise anything.

3. post-production: it’s when we edit your video or film.

What’s video editing?

It’s when we choose the best parts of the footage we have got, and mix it with audio and soundtrack based on the information you have given us in your brief.

Why video editing stage is considered important?

Video editing stage is considered important because in this stage, different cuts convey different messages and moods. That is why you need to see the edit with us to make changes and approve the final cut before we export it.

Can I make changes to the film?

Yes! You will receive a free private viewing with our editor so if something is not feeling the way you want it to be, you could communicate to resolve it properly.

Where are you based?
